AcidReniX1 Has made a series of instructional videos on how to do certain things in Fortress-Forever. In this video, AcidReniX1 discusses how to Conc Jump.
Team Fortress 2 turned one year old on October 10th 2007. Who would have thought the game would have ever been released, much less turn a year old.
TF2 was first announced in 1998. This means the game was in development for 9 years – that is a long time. During those 9 years, the game also under went several developmental changes. What started out as a combat style game, with armored transports and maybe even helicopters and airplanes, changed to the point where todays TF2 is nothing like the original.
Team Fortress originally started out as a free modification for Quake and Quakeworld. Development on Team Fortress 2 switched to the GoldSrc engine in 1998 after the development team of the Team Fortress Software (Robin Walker and John Cook) were employed by Valve Corporation.
Are the snipers on 2Fort giving you a hard time? Do they snipe you before you can even get off the battlements? Well, it is because of this very reason that the developers of 2Fort gave you the water entrance.
To access the water entrance, go to the secondary respawn, its the one connected to the snipers deck. Or, if you do not want to expose yourself on the snipers deck, go to the dropdown exit of the secondary respawn. Turn to the left, then to the left again and you will be at the entrance of the water exit. Notice the resupply bag – remember this for later. Also, notice the deck above the water entrance. Sometimes an engineer will build a sentry gun on that deck, or sometimes a defensive player will be waiting to ambush players coming through the water entrance.

Got a competitive streak?
There’s two competitive leagues for Fortress Forever. UGC has served the community well for a year, and Team Fortress League is starting up again with support for FF in a 7v format.
Now that 2fort was finally released for Fortress-Forever, its time to start posting some screen shots. Instead of trying to take the entire map and make one big post about it, lets just break it up into smaller section. In this article we will be discussing the snipers deck.
There are 2 respawn rooms in 2fort, one that is connected to the snipers deck and another that is between the ramp room that the entrance to the snipers deck. If you respawn in the secondary respawn room (the one connected to the snipers deck) just exit to the right hand of the room and you will be on the snipers deck.
From the screen shot below, it looks like the person who made this map put a lot of detail into it – notice the mesh to the right and left of the entrance.
You are a gun for hire, trapped in a war-torn African state, stricken with malaria and forced to make deals with corrupt warlords on both sides of the conflict in order to make this country your home.
You must identify and exploit your enemies’ weaknesses, neutralizing their superior numbers and firepower with surprise, subversion, cunning and of course brute force.
